1.3: What About Racing?
Chocobo racing is a sport practiced at the Golden Saucer near Corel. It is a large gambling hub where patrons throw down large amounts of Gil on a particular Chocobo and are able to win lots of Gil if that Chocobo wins.

People who own Chocobos can enter in the races. As with breeding the type and breed of Chocobo affects how fast and strong it is, you can also feed your Chocobos to make their attributes rise. Here is a list of the greens you can feed to your Chocobo and the effect that they have:
